I had a call one day from Chris, telling me about his plans to propose to his girlfriend Anna. He wanted me to capture it all as it happened, and that's just right up my alley. So Chris and I met for a coffee and got planning. To avoid any suspicion from Anna, he decided to do the photoshoot on her birthday, and just told her that the couple photoshoot was a birthday present for her
On the day of the photoshoot I met with them in the carpark at Karekare beach out in west Auckland (pretending not to know Chris of course). Karekare beach is a rather breathtaking location and as a photographer you are spoilt for choice really. We made our way up to the platform where Chris delivered some special poetry to Anna, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She of course, said yes! We ended off the night with some sunset shots. Here are some pics below from the shoot:
