I know the word epic is chucked around a lot but this really was one epic wedding, full of aroha and laughs, at the magical and impressive Hillbrook Farm & Estate in Whangamata. From a bit of a rainy start, the day’s entire vibe brought out the sun when it mattered the most - at sunset golden hour. The views at this venue are incredible, overlooking the South Pacific Ocean with both Mayor and Slipper Island in sight. A beautiful blend of Irish and NZ culture, with a spine-tingling haka too.
Also, it must be the first time I’ve ever had a wedding where the groom has made the cake - kudos to your baking skills Andrew!
