The day began with a few raindrops, but as if on cue, the sun made a grand appearance just in time for golden hour—perfect for capturing breathtaking sunset wedding photos. Hillbrook Farm’s incredible views, overlooking the South Pacific Ocean with both Mayor and Slipper Islands on the horizon, makes this venue a photography dream.
This wedding was a beautiful fusion of Irish and New Zealand culture, complete with a spine-tingling haka that had everyone in awe. And here’s a first for me: the groom, Andrew, baked the wedding cake himself—absolute kudos for those baking skills!
