Bay of Plenty Wedding Photographers

Gotta love an Autumn wedding, those lovely leaves and colours, especially in beautiful Matamata.

Sarah + Max got married in 2019. Sarah is a vet. Max is a farmer. They met when Max came into the clinic looking for information on how to help his sick calf. The rest, as they say, is history!

One thing I loved about this wedding was that Sarah wore the same dress that her Gran wore on her wedding day, back in 1948. A super interesting fact about it, is that it wasn’t actually her Gran’s dress, it was her Gran’s Aunt’s dress, which was used 6 years prior (back in those days, people apparently borrowed dresses as many couldn’t afford a new one). Another great thing about this story, is that her Gran was there at the wedding. She is fit, healthy and 92 years of age!

Always good fun to catch a beautiful Autumn sunset too!
